Delhi Daredevils (DD) Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)In the 52nd match of 2009 Indian Premier League, Today’s match at Johannesburg, 16.30 local time (SA), 14.30 GMT, 8.00PM IST is a must win for the Royal Challengers Bangalore who find themselves at sixth position with 12 points but can still go through to the semi finals if they win their last two matches.

The Delhi Daredevils were completely dominant in their last match against the Rajasthan Royals. AB De Villiers, Dilshan and Dinesh Karthik are in great touch through out the tournament. Ashish Nehra is just two wickets away from the Purple Cap. Farveez Maharoof, Dirk Nannes and Amit are doing well and able to pick up wickets.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have been playing pretty good cricket in the last few matches and won last match against Chennai Super Kings. Ross Taylor has been in great form with two consecutive match winning knocks. Royal Challengers are lacking in bowling compared to Delhi Daredevils.

Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Chennai Super Kings by 2 wick in a thriller to go to 4th position

In a thrilling match of IPL2 Royal Challengers Bangalore registered a thrilling 2 wickets victory over last year runner-up Chennai Super Kings in the 1st game of Thursday at Durban. Chennai made 129 all out and Bangalore scored 132/8 in 19.4 overs.


Chennai won the toss and elected to bat first reached 93/2 in 12 overs thanks to Hayden's 60 runs off 38 balls but they bowled ou on 129 runs in 19.4 overs, lost wickets for 36 runs due to some fine bowling by Bangalore.


Ross Taylor (46 runs) continues his last match form and along with Virat Kohli (38 runs) set a platform for an important 2 wickets win with 2 balls remaining and moved to 4th position in 2009 standings.

Which could have been one of the best batting performance by Kolkatta Knight Riders was shattered completely by Ross Taylor of ROyal challengers Bangalore with a superb knock of 81 runs in just 33 balls one of the quickest knock of this season quenching the thirst for a win to stay alive in the championship.

At reported earlier KKR had scored 173 thanks to thier captain McCullum,who scored his best score of this IPL season with 84 along with Hussey (43 of 27 balls) to give support for achieveing the total of a competitive 173; thinking thier bowlers would be able to restrict RCB who were sailing the same boat as that of KKR being the lowest in ranking of IPL 2

Ross Taylor had a different plan and came down heavily on the bowlers of KKR destroying them completely by hitting them all over the ground to score one of the quickest half century of this IPL.
