After an entertaining 3 match test series which India won by 2-0 against Sri Lanka, both the team are now ready to play the 2 match Twenty20 series and 1st T20 will be played on Wednesday, December 3, 2009 at Nagpur at 6.00 PM IST.
All Indian batsman including Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh ans MS Dhoni are in good form. 20 20 specialist Rohit Sharma, Yousuf Pathan and Suresh Raina will boost the batting line up. Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh has beens rested for T20.
Sri Lanka will highly depend on hard hitter Sanath Jayasuriya and inform Tilakratne Dilshan to compete with the tough competitors. Muralitharan may miss T20 series after poor show in just ended test series.
