In an attempt to preserve Kevin Pieterson for the T20 World Cup, who is currently recovering from a minor right achilles tendon injury, the England Board has out Kevin of the ODI squad for the ongoing one day series against West Indies.
England Cricket Board (ECB) took this call in wake of the situation that their top players as the likes of Kevin Pieterson is preserved and kept fresh for the much important tournaments like the ICC T20 World Cup; and not burning them out before such an important event.
