Bangladesh team will play their first test match against the West Indies at Arnos Vale ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent today. Both teams played against each other in 2004 when Bangladesh lost both the test and the ODI series to the hosts.
Mashrafe Mortaza is the new captain who will be leading the Bangladesh cricket team. Former captain Mohammad Ashraful has lost captaincy becuase of bad form. After a bycott by the
West Indies Player's Association (WIPA), contractual dispute with the home board, West Indies selectors announced a second-string team for the 1st test match of 2 match series with 9 uncapped players.
