England’s Charismatic all rounder Andrew Flintoff announced his retirement from test cricket after current Ashes Series on the eve of 2nd test match between Australia and England on Wednesday, 15th July, 2009.31 years old Flintoff facing series of injuries and missed 25 tests out of England’s 48 test matches in last few years is in doubtful for 2nd test at Lord’s. He announced his retirement from longest form but make himself available for the limited over ODI’s and shortest version of the game T20.
Flintoff played 76 tests so far scored 3708 runs at an average of 31.69 with 5 centuries and 219 wickets at an average of 32.51 with two 5 wickets haul in his career.
