India on rampage - Beat Ireland By Eight Wickets, Rohit Sharma & Zaheer Khan sizzle

Among all the controversies of no clarity on injury prone players in the team India continue its T20 World Cup campaign with yet another team. This time, being a weaker yet unpredictable opponent in Ireland. Indian cricket fans might be missing the fireworks of Virendra Sehwag but Rohit Sharma has quenched their thirst and that too in style.

Earlier in the innings as Ireland faced the wrath of a rejuvenated Zaheer Khan (Zakka) losing 4 wickets to some extra pace that Zaheer managed to produce. Ireland crumbled to a paltry 112 losing 8 wickets in doing so. Pragyan Ojha keeping up his reputation of delivering a blow of his first ball (managed to do this feat in all International T20 matches he played yet.) took 2 wicket and giving away just 18 runs of his 4 overs making it extremely difficult for Ireland to come to terms of making a huge score. AR White managed 29 runs of 25 balls which was the highest score by the Irish players.

Rohit Sharma the lad from Mumbai suburbs is making great waves in cricket; right from the IPL to the ICC T20 World Cup, he scored another half century in a low score match.

Match summary:

India 113 for 2 (Rohit 52*, Gambhir 37) beat Ireland 112 for 8 (Zaheer 4-19, Ojha 2-18) by eight wickets
