A tremendous turnaround of fortune for Sri Lanka, who were on the verge of defeat from the recent T20 Champions, Pakistan whose bowlers bowled brilliantly to restrict Sri Lanka for a paltry lead of 168 runs. Pakistan v Sri Lanka Live Test Match – 4th day Pakistan on the verge of defeat - Pak v SL Test match

A Topsy-turvy game of test cricket - Sri Lanka comes back strongly at Pakistan claiming 7 quick wickets within 15 overs of the 4th day to drive Pakistan to a near defeat, unless a miraculous lower order clicks. Mendis, Thushara & Tharanga claimed 2 wickets each to peg down Pakistan on a low run chase. If Pakistan loose this sitter they themselves are to blame for the 2nd inning batting lapse, and a great opportunity lost.

Day 3 ends with bright prospect for Pakistan to take a lead in the 3 test series against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka struggled with the batting and managed to get just 168 runs as the target for Pakistan to chase down. Pakistan lost two wickets as they scored 72 chasing the target.
