Australia Vs Sri Lanka – ICCT20 World Cup 2009 8th Match

In the 8th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2009, Australia is going to play against Sri Lanka today at Trent Bridge, Nottingham starting from 4:30 GMT, 10.00 PM IST. It is a do or dies match for both of the teams to ensure their chances for the Super 8 stage.

Australia already lost his first match against West Indies. On paper, Australia’s T20 team is much stronger than West Indies T20 team. The batting side is a point of concern for Australia because batsmen are not consistent in performance.

Sri Lanka is always a dark horse in cricket history. Sri Lanka batting lineup is very strong and players have good experience of IPL T20 this year. If Sri Lanka will win today then Australia will automatically out of the tournament.
