India outplayed Pakistan completely by chasing a modest score of 158 by just losing the solitary wicket of Rohit Sharma, who before getting out had masterminded a wonderful chase with a quick fire 80 runs to stamp authority over the game and also gain a big boost in his confidence of opening the innings as a makeshift opener (in the absence of Virendra Sehwag) along with Gautam Gambhir.
Pakistan was jittery with their approach in putting up a big target. They started with a bang but lost wickets in a flurry to pressurize captain Younis Khan and misbah to guide them to a respectable total of 158
Earlier the crowds had poured in for this warm-up match as rarely one gets to see the arch rivals on the ground playing a competitive game of cricket together.
