India beat New Zealand in 2nd ODI of Compaq Cup | Ind vs NZ Match Highlights

A clinical Indian team pulled out yet another win as they move closer to the number 1 position in ODI rankings. Couple of good partnerships first between Rahul Dravid (14) and Sachin Tendulkar (46) and between MS Dhoni (35*) and Suresh Raina (45 not out) saw them thru of the very sorry total which New Zealand batsmen managed to set a target for India to chase.

Early in the day Ashish Nehra had a wonderful comeback clinching early wickets to put NZ in the backfoot, which never allowed them to gain any kind of momentum. Yuvraj amazed the New Zealand batsmen with his variation in the leg spin which he fastened the batsmen thus claiming 3 important wickets.

In all a very good collaborative performance by India and they now await to play Sri Lanka today.
