England wins warm up match against Scotland – K Pieterson scores 53


Quick summary:
England 141 for 4 (Pietersen 53*) beat Scotland 136 for 5 (Smith 45) by six wickets

Scotland could manage 136 runs in 20 overs losing 5 wickets. CJO Smith top scored for them with 45 runs with some help from KJ Coetzer scoring 34 and opener Hamilton who departed after scoring 20 runs. Paul Collingwood was the best bowler for England taking 2 wickets giving away 18 runs in 3 overs which is very good for a T20 match.

In response Kevin Pieterson scored an unbeaten 50 to take England to victory. England reached the total in the 19th over dropping 4 wickets ni the run chase. Ravi Bopara was the next highest scorer for England after Kevin.
